The name Neck Oil comes from our founder Logan fondly remembering his grandad stating he was off down the pub to 'oil his neck' with a pint. The light and zingy taste of Neck Oil Session IPA is the perfect place to start your craft beer journey. A drink, its packaging and any promotional material should not in any direct or indirect way urge the consumer to drink rapidly or to ‘down’ a product in one. It starts out very dry to taste that is then quickly overtaken by the floral fruity notes of the hops before a dry, hoppy full-flavoured finish that makes a mockery of its low abv. The company stated that the name ‘neck oil’ incorporated the noun ‘neck’ and did not encourage the act of necking beer in quantity.
