Description

It smells like something from Swiss Arabian. That being said, Drakkar Intense is incredibly close to Swiss Arabian’s Noora Onyx which is a concentrated perfume oil dupe of Drakkar Noir but with added vanilla. It has the same synthetic to the bone feel. Granted this entire composition for Drakkar Intense is just a slew of aroma chemicals but they have been handled well so kudos. There’s nil depth or development. It’s a sleepy and linear accord of vanilla, lavander and suede with fillers as mentioned prior. There’s no complexity here at all. It’s a linear accord. If you’re in a pinch and simply want an easy to wear cologne that you don’t have to think about, Drakkar Intense is the perfect choice. If you’re looking for something exciting with endless dynamism, you’ll surely be disappointed. Today I'm sharing some thoughts and first impressions on a couple of fragrances, Drakkar Noir (A Day Fragrance) & Drakkar Intense (A Night Fragrance). I won't we be going into my usual breakdowns as the nature of this blog will be to compare and contrast the two, as opposed to reviewing them individually on their own merit. Bottles For the price point, you can’t be mad. It’s cheap as chips. With the right ingredients this creation would’ve been absolutely amazing beyond belief but obviously the budget has kept Intense in the lowest grade. For what it is, this intense version is actually nice. Not great, not bad, for sure wearable and hardly offensive in the least. It will be the dumbest most boring reach in your collection when you don’t really want to wear anything at all.

The performance is solid ! For the price you can not complain and me the time when a bischeb air in the bottle is there will mature again ... for fans of the original certainly worth a try and for all those looking for a modern perfume with vintage touch also the right! In my opinion, this new intense version doesn’t have much to do with Drakkar Noir. This could possibly be because I’m only familiar with the original formula of Drakkar Noir. To my seasoned nose, I get lots and lots of vanilla, too much in fact. Hardly a touch as mentioned in the description. There’s a tiny bit of suede, some lavander and some fillers in the middle. It’s almost a one note wonder of vanilla. I’m particularly not too keen on vanilla so I’ll never wear this. In reality if I were doing a blind smell test, I would have not joined the dots on these fragrances coming from the same house. I know the Drakker Intense is a flanker for the very first Drakker fragrance, and they are very different in terms of composition and ingredients, I didn't really see a through-line or a signature that would put these two fragrances next to each other. Drakkar Intense is the new and even more powerful interpretation of Drakkar Noir. Both rebellious and addictive, the scent blends the depth of a suede harmony with the warmth of a touch of vanilla. Zesty notes of bergamot and sage essences add a fresh contrast for a sensual and unforgettable trail. A seductive and vibrant masculinity captured in a bottle’. If you're in my age group, say 40s, looking to date younger women, then the Drakkar Intense, is sweeter, spicier, darker and has more complexity than its predecessor. However, if you're looking for value the Drakkar Noir certainly hangs around longer. In fact a lot longer. The Drakkar Intense does get a lot of compliments, but only within the first couple of hours of application. The Drakker Intense is a modern fragrance and has all the character traits of what you might think a modern man should smell like. The Drakkar Noir has a more of a barbershop smell. The dry down is more impactful and the leather notes give it a firm landing. I think the Drakkar Noir is a scent that still holds up, I believe people buy it either out of nostalgia or they might be looking for a very mature scent. If you're gifting one of these to a friend or loved one the Drakkar Intense is a safer bet, but if you want to buy someone something truly unique then opt for the Drakkar Noir. Available where?
