Maintenance: The Silent Runner spins on dual ball bearings located in the back plate of the wheel that need to be kept clean during use and replaced every 4-6 months so that the wheel can work at its best capability. Sadly Oakley never got the chance to use it so can't verify exactly how great it is in action but in terms of design and what I've noticed so far, I think I love it! Because it's lightweight but highly durable,unlike some other 12 inch wheels it would be quite easy for even small hamsters to spin(including robos and Chinese).
