It isn’t a huge deal, it just kept drawing my attention because the whole thing didn’t make much sense to me in the context of the relationship as presented. Because they had been best friends for years and knew everything about each other, I found that all of their interactions were super fun to read and you could tell how well these two work together just by how they interact with each other. I’ve been hoping to get a full length novel with Felix and Saxon ever since I read the Daddy’s Toy novella, and I loved their extended story! Being with your partner may feel like rainbows and unicorns, but that doesn't mean you have a healthy, functioning relationship.
