Interesting scent, enjoyable however short lived and wearable but not quite sure why - possibly intrigue factor on my behalf? I just bought it cause I got sold at David Jones because of the sales assistant not because this was actually interested in this fragrance. Worthy addition to the Issey catalogue, I will be giving this plenty of rotation in the coming months. I have to concur with previous reviewers pointing out that "blue shower gel" vibe that Fusion clearly has. Keeping nature at its heart, Fusion d’Issey is a mineral fougère fragrance for men inspired by nature’s four elements: water, earth, fire and air.Nice coconutty fig blend but only can be smelled for about a little over an hour, on clothing mind you. Its freshness comes from the explosive and lively zest of lemon accompanied by the sweetness of coconut milk.

Between strength and balance, the aroma of peppermint mingles with the verticality of the profound mineral solar accord that is the signature of Fusion d'Issey. This is very nice indeed, as a woman who likes to wear mens perfume I think is a very balanced and pleasing scent.Plunging into the heart of the volcano to encounter the mineral and uncover the roundness of ambrox. The right person for this would be one that is kind of bored by designer releases yet doesn't want to go full on niche weirdness.

I'm chalking this up to personal preference but if you are also one of those perfume enthusiast who struggle with frags that are too sweet, you may want to skip this one. I tried this again today for probably the third or fourth time already, for me it's definitely been rewarding to try it more than once, I like it more each time. In the last part patchouli and sandalwood take center stage, floating on a light sea breeze subtly aromatic. Anyway, the long and short is if you’re into the fig aspects of Fusion, I’d definitely consider giving the Demeter a try. We all have our point of views based on our perception, I'd like to understand yours better as I find your comparison quite interesting and different to my own and that's part of what I like about this frag hobbie.It contains coconut so it could be compared to JPG Le Beau and Kenzo Homme night , but to my nose it's not really close to those two, this is more interesting and daring. A gentle, intricate interplay of coconut and fig delivers a sweetness that many have compared to sunscreen; on my skin, it comes across as more fluffy and airy than something as oily as sunscreen, reminiscent of an Ariana Grande fragrance I once smelled (possibly Cloud, although I may be wrong). This is a casual fragrance for a hot summer’s day, as it blooms in high heat without getting *too* cloying.
