I'm not at all gifted or knowledgable in the beauty or makeup area, so I really had no idea what the difference was between illuminators and highlighters, haha! The stunning golden swirled highlighter is just an absolute dream to apply, and has the most beautiful pop of warm bronzy gold. Available in four face-flattering shades, Laura Gellers Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator has a beautiful buttery texture applying and blending so seamlessly that the powder is almost a cream in consistency. We all know how much highlighters have stepped to the forefront of the makeup world lately, and everybody who wants to get that dramatic ‘Instaglam’ look is on the prowl for that perfectly popping highlight to rival a sunbeam. So when it arrived in the Lookfantastic Beauty Egg Collection, I was that excited I screamed a little bit.

I was so excited to try out this highlighter, I had heard amazing things and wanted to pick this up for the longest time. This paired with Mary Lou from the Balm I honestly can’t even … I’ll have to do a look with both on. I do love the look of these on you, Kim, but I admit that when it comes to beauty products, highlighters and illuminators are among the things I understand the least.The face products start with one of the most iconic products from the brand, the Baked Balance ‘n’ Brighten Colour Correcting Foundation, which is available in five shades (I’m Porcelain) which you can select when you purchase. I personally love the shade Ballerina out of all of them because it is the shade I tend to prefer wearing as a highlight color on my cheeks. Gilded Honey was a huge hit with beauty lovers, because of it's pretty swirl design and lovely gold color. Since then, the Laura Geller brand has been committed to making sure that everyone has the products as well as the knowledge needed to reflect the beauty within. This doesn't look chunky or glittery and I have fallen in love, once I've used up this little mini I definitely want to purchase the full-size.

Initially, when I opened this I thought it looked a bit too gold and I was worried it might show up a shade too dark for my skintone, this made me worry that I wouldn't like this highlighter but I was so wrong.
