Granted, the picture makes it look very red, but in real life it looks really similar to the copper with a slight red tint to it. Although it does look like it evened out the tone, for a softer and glossier platinum blonde finish. I have tried nearly every brand of shampoos that take away yellow tone and this product is the only one I have been satisfied with that does not leave your hair with purple marks and leaves it with a nice silver tone.
