About this deal

I jumped back and forth between Overwatch 2, Destiny 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and at least a dozen other games without adjusting a single setting on the monitor. On the back, there’s some bright LED lighting that you can set to one of our static colors or cycle through a spectrum.

It’s hard to argue with a display that can deliver an incredibly wide color gamut, a sizzling peak brightness, and a nearly immeasurably contrast ratio. Ocuk Limited trading as Overclockers UK is a credit broker, not a lender, and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The LG UltraGear OLED 27" display lets you explore HDR content the way it was meant to be seen with DCI-P3 98. Whether the broadcasters are going HD or not, TV sets and projectors are arriving thick and fast which claim to support higher resolutions than regular telly.

It also didn't help in shooters like Fortnite, or The Finals playtest, where nighttime levels proved extra difficult to spot enemies in the distance. It may certainly make more sense for some gamers, but for those who want an advantage in competitive games and a traditional aspect ratio, the LG UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE-B remains a strong option. The LG has an OLED panel with better contrast and better motion, which is ideal for gaming in dark rooms. I've also been drudging through God of War, and the frozen realms filled with murderous elves have never looked better.

If I set the color depth level to anything higher than 8-bit (10/12-bit) when setting a game to full screen, the monitor switches to 4k/120hz resolution instead of 1440p/240hz. That inherent benefit hasn’t always manifested as an advantage for OLED panels when gaming, because few have paired those pixel response times with fast refresh rates.

What's worse, even with the power-saving feature turned off, the monitor dims even further and the grayish white becomes even sadder when more than ~60-70% of the screen is bright.

Keeping in tandem with technological developments, audio/video connectors continue to evolve at a steady pace.Modern desktop computers and notebooks comprise of a CPU, motherboard, graphics, storage, and, usually an optical drive. Matte finishes do a better job of keeping reflections at bay, but full-gloss finishes look just that little sharper and more immersive.
