Iain Robertson is used to tough jobs—after retiring from the Parachute Regiment, he took on jobs guarding George Harrison, Gary Moore and Johnny Rotten. Her passion for modern architecture was sparked by the brutalist Kenyatta International Conference Centre, built in her home city of Nairobi in the early 70s.

I can handle some plot holes, too tidy endings, inconsistent characters but bad writing will kill me. But after enjoying the fresh water and fruit, things begin to happen, friends turn on friends, and they begin to split apart.Of course, she cannot see into the future to see how it will play out in the end, but the ability makes her see life in a different light. After reading the synopsis I had a feeling I would enjoy this one, but I had no idea it would end up on my favorites shelf! Iain Robertson's background in the Parachute Regiment and his eventual appointment as Tour manager and security co-ordinator is certainly not the usual view into the poptastic universe.
