This combination enhances the flavour but does not increase the protein content, as this can lead to high energy or aggression to an injured or resting greyhound.

Race Dogs: Red Mills Xcel 32 is a complete racing diet and requires only the addition of water (unless under veterinary advice). For racing dogs use Red Mills Xcel 32 with Red Mills Racer Plus for approximately 5 days before an event. Feed 30-40% of the feed as Xcel 32 and the remainder of the feed as Racer Plus. If using Xcel 32 on its own feed 14 gsm per kg bodyweight per day (0.22 ozs per lb bodyweight). Reduce the proportion of Xcel 32 after the event. Do not use meat with Xcel 32. Xcel 32 contains very high levels of concentrated energy and protein. As a result it contains lower levels of carbohydrate than Racer Plus and is more suitable for stayers than sprinters.Red Mills Xcel 32 is a high performance feed designed to meet the needs of pups, brood bitches and racing dogs in sustained training. Connolly's Red Mills Xcel 32 is designed to be used with Red Mills Racer Plus for racing dogs in strenuous training.
