Britney's name is attached to it and this came out in 2004 when not every celebrity had a fragrance line. I knew friends at school who wore this and I got my first bottle with the dusting powder in 2012 along with a bottle of Fantasy and I have never looked back. Sometimes, we don't appreciate scents that are commonly found and used by many, but we end up missing it when they become out of reach.

on most days jasmine is my sworn enemy as it gives me an instantaneous headache (but there are a handful of exceptions so I'm assuming it's the concentration of jasmine in a given product that determines whether I can tolerate it or not as opposed to the jasmine itself), but here despite the many different floral elements it never come across as overbearing, thanks to the heavy cloud of sweetness that sits on top. I don’t believe this scent withstood the test of time, as we wear more edible fragrances these days it seems. I can't really comment on the reformulations, I've read the reviews about the supposed cheapened newer versions of it, with cheap plastic caps and sprays, lack of dangling charms, etc. While I do get a nice fresh pear accord at first, it morphs into a powdery/warm floral, not quite an Oriental but close, with a bit of the "shampoo/soap" that other reviewers mentioned. I know this has been around forever but I wasn’t really keen on trying celebrity perfumes before I started my perfume journey.In 2000 I was 3 so I don’t really remember the early years lol but I can sure as hell remember the time when Britney dropped the Toxic music video.

The only reason I don't wear it more often is because I don't want it to lose it's nostalgia and magic! It’s a fresh, aquatic floral that has great projection and longevity and has really stood the test of time! I also heard someone say this is what they would imagine britney would wear, and I would have to completely agree! I think this is much better quality than many reviews would suggest, but it’s not modern smelling as things have gone rather sweet and gourmand in the years since this one was released (most of Britney’s scents included!Curious notes consist of white flowers vanilla musk lotus pear magnolia tuberose jasmine pink cyclamen and precious woods to create this independent aroma. When wearing it, I can picture myself in Louisiana, relaxing on swinging seat, under a huge shady tree. I’ve never been a fan of more fresh and clean scents because I find them quite boring, but this is very calming. It's funny that the notes are thus, because I literally thought to myself - 'Smells like a melange of aquatic notes, white florals. Even apart from enjoying the scent itself, the memories behind it make me happy- which is what fragrance is all about!
