I gave it 4 stars because it was short. LOL, I know this is a short story, but nah. Well, you know. You can leave, too,” I hear her say to Brennan, right before the door to the living room slams shut. Seconds later, the water begins running in the shower. When I read "Maybe Someday", I remember really loving Warren. Any guy who is gorgeous and also has an amazing sense of humor, is beyond sexy. I have to admit, I loved him a helluva lot more than Ridge's character. In the first book, Maybe Someday, we met and fell in love with Ridge and Sydney just as they fell in love with one another. She stands on her tiptoes and kisses me on the cheek. To anyone else watching, that was just a kiss on the cheek. But knowing Bridgette like I know her, that was a whole lot more than just a kiss. That was her saying she doesn't need anyone else. That kiss on the cheek means we´re official. That kiss on the cheek means I have a girlfriend."

I feel like I’m two different people right now. I’m a guy who finds his new roommate insanely attractive, but I’m also a guy who can’t stand to be around his bitchy new roommate.”Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to love with that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory. The writing style itself is fine, and I think I could enjoy other books by this author with more likable characters. I did like the characters of Ridge, Brennan, and Sydney, so maybe their stories will appeal to me more. We learned the reason for the addition of Warren to porn movies. It's a little funny. It's amazing Warren's tenacity to stand Bridgette and try to achieve what he wants from the first moment he saw her: to be in a relationship with her. It was like love at first sight, but everything done upside down, first sex, sex and lots of sex and at the end first date and holding hands.

The first installment of the Maybe trilogy, Maybe Someday follows a 22-year-old college student who, after discovering her boyfriend is cheating on her, finds herself interested in her mysterious, guitar-playing neighbor Ridge. A lot times a bitchy heroine can get annoying, but this is short and Bridgette just kept growing on me. Yes, Bridgette is a bitch and comes off a little harsh, and Warren comes off like an egoistical asshole…hey it works! I loved that a couple of things that happened in Maybe Someday were somehow explained in this one. Like for example the reason behind Warren's porn obsession or Bridgette's personality & of course their relationship. This novel begins with an unlikely attraction between a nurse named Tate Collins and an airline pilot, Miles Archer. Balancing busy schedules, total disdain for each other, and an undeniable physical attraction, the two decide to spark up a sex-only arrangement with two basic rules—don’t ask about the past, and don’t expect a future.

A Colleen Hoover rule that holds true: always expect the unexpected. She has the ability to take what may look like a simple romance novel on the surface and bring in elements of complexity. Brennan holds up a finger and turns to face me. “Actually,” he says, “this is a shared bathroom. With that bedroom.” He points to the door that leads to the other bedroom. “And that bedroom now belongs to…” He points to the girl. “Bridgette. Your new roommate.” The third and final installment in the Slammed trilogy, This Girl takes the familiar story and turns it on its head, with the story unfolding from Will’s perspective, rather than Layken’s. The couple continues to struggle with the shadows of Will’s past, balancing the weight of that with the hope of their future. I can’t inhale, no matter how hard I try, because the need to kiss her has taken over… I need her air. I kiss her so desperately, I forget that I’m still mad at her.” Think of Finding Perfect as a thread that ties multiple Hoover titles together. A sequel novella to Finding Cinderella, a continuation of the All Your Perfects story, and the final iteration of the Hopeless series , Finding Perfect revives the story from the perspective of Daniel, following his relationship with Six and their eventual heartbreak.

This book has been criticized for themes of hypocrisy, however, given both that Sydney was a victim of cheating at the start of the book and also that Ridge is grappling with essentially those same tempting thoughts as he and Sydney become closer. Maybe Not follows the story of Warren and the mean Hooters’ waitress slash roommate, Bridgette. If you’ve read Maybe Someday, you know that these two have a weird (and crazy) relationship. And in this novella, we get to know how it all started, including Warren’s addiciton. Also, you’ll recognize some scenes because the story takes place at the same time as Maybe Someday, only in Warren’s POV. This is absolutely a fun and fast read. There were steamy scenes (but not in a way that you will feel uncomfortable reading them) and also funny moments. I enjoyed the sarcasm, pranks and their visit to Warren’s sister (I was laughing hard with this one). Minus .5 because I want more. I also want to know Bridgette a lot more. Hoover’s impressive and brilliant writing style combined with interesting characters and delightful story made her one of my favorite authors. Yep. It’s official, she’s now included in my list. Oh my god I can't read one more single word without combusting from rage. Let me start off by saying a couple of things:Awww, this was so cute and enjoyable read. Seriously, Colleen Hoover is the new adult genre's goddess! Here we can learn a little more about Bridgette and her reasons for being the way she is, although I don't like it. Having a difficult life doesn't give you the right to pay it with people who are not to blame, but everyone faces problems differently. Warren and Bridgett start as roommates thrown in together unwillingly. Then things change between them. It’s hard to describe. Are they friends? Boyfriend/girlfriend? Is it just sex? Or is more brewing between them.... I'm happy because I meet at Ridge and Sydney again. I was a huge fan of Maybe someday. I don't know why I was waiting for a long time to read the short story, but it's absolutely worth it. Brennan walks over to me and calmly places two hands on my shoulders. “Warren Russell, you need to calm the hell down. You’re starting to freak me out.”

With Hoover’s witty supporting characters and excellent ability to mend themes of love, lust, humor, and real-life problems, actions, and consequences (WITH loads of sexual tension but WITHOUT a lot of her classic spicy love scenes), this is not a book to sleep on. I don’t want you to change, Bridgette. I’m not in love with who you could be, or who you used to be, or who the world says you should be. I’m in love with you. Right now. Just like this.” Which is why I’ll never murder anyone, because there’s no way I can live with this sound for eternity. I can’t even live with it for five seconds. I loved Maybe Someday, so when I saw we would get Warren’s story, even if it was a novella, I was so excited. I already loved Warren and now I love him even more. We saw the dynamic between Bridgette and Warren, but I had no idea how funny they both are. My apartment is my sanctuary. My man cave. The only place I can go where my life isn’t ruled by women. My boss is a woman, all my professors are women, my sister and my mother are both women. Once Bridgette steps into my shower and makes it her own with all her girly shampoos and razors and shit, I’m screwed. That’s my shower.Brennan holds up a finger and turns to face me. “Actually,” he says, “this is a shared bathroom. With that bedroom.” He points to the door that leads to the other bedroom. “And that bedroom now belongs to...” He points to the girl. “Bridgette. Your new roommate.” Twenty-one-year-old Auburn Reed’s life is shattered. With a plan to rebuild from nothing, she takes a job at a Dallas art studio where she, naturally, meets a mysterious artist, Owen Gentry. The two connect and Auburn learns that Owen is hiding a secret past that threatens to destroy everything she has left, which isn’t much.
