Mythical Monsters are a class of Monsters that used to be exclusive to the Playstation Vita, but they were later added to the main release in 2019. These Monsters manifest two elements, Mythical ( ) and Dream ( ). Near the end of September 2022, Mythical Island was released, an island housing all of the Mythical Monsters. On this island, you can breed the Mythicals found on the Natural and Fire Islands with Cataliszt, the Dream elemental, to get Dreamythicals.

While Ethereal Island features exclusively Single and Double Element Ethereals, the Ethereal Workshop features unstable monsters with more than 2 elements who must be synthesized by using attuned Meebs.Ethereals are special Monsters that are always available to breed. Each Natural Island has a single element Ethereal available. They can be bred with a Quad element and triple element Monster. Ethereal combinations have a 1% chance of success, but occasionally Ethereal Breeding Bonanza weekend promotions will increase this to 6%. Seasonal Monsters are special Monsters available for limited times during their respective Seasonal Events, or on other occasions, such as an Out-of season event or Anniversary Month. Each Seasonal has a unique combination that is used across all Islands (except Seasonal Shanty), and has a high likelihood of failure. The "follow us on Facebook" message that sometimes pops up features a Bowgart and a Mammott. The Bowgart seems to represent the blue of the Facebook logo while the Mammott represents the white font inside the Facebook logo. If a chief accepts another player to join their Tribe almost immediately after request, they both will have to reload their games to see the new member's monster. However, the chief can place the new member's monster earlier than the new member can start feeding it.

Doubles are the easiest to breed, and just require two single element Monsters. For example, Maw is bred by breeding Mammott and Toe Jammer . Natural doubles have a 100% success rate, and thus cannot result in one of the parents. Double-element Fire and Magical Monsters are slightly harder to breed and can result in one of the parent Monsters. Double-element Ethereals are much harder to get and will often fail. Special Monsters (not Natural, Fire, or Magical) often have no alternate combinations. However Ethereals and Seasonals can also be obtained 100% of the time when using the same Common + Rare variant on Ethereal Island and Seasonal Shanty. The monster with the longest name which isn't a Rare, Epic, or Prismatic monster is Gobbleygourd with 12 characters, while the monsters with the shortest name are all Dipsters except Sol, with only two characters.

I personally think that it take a long time just to hatch and breed eggs. I do realize that it’s required so people can’t speed run the game in 5 seconds but I mean 1 day just to get one monster that’s a long time especially to beginners that don’t have many diamonds and don’t know how to use them or what to do with them. But like watching adds and only getting 15 or 30 minutes taken off the total time gets really boring fast. But with like 14 hours for the most that’s perfect like this would be the best mobile game in the world. Each Monster, excluding Gold Epic Wubbox, the Wublins, Celestials, and Dipsters, have their own unique Egg, so even in egg form, it can be identified. Rares and Epics have their own egg designs now as well as the retained certain effect to the shell, almost like a shine. Epic Monsters have binds and a radiant glow around the egg.
