This sweet wine is the result of an exceptionally long aging process during which more than half of this precious liquid evaporates.

Rather than relying on cane sugar for flavour, cinnamon cocoa and a pinch of Adriatic sea salt are added to highlight the complexity of flavour found in the Puglian almonds. For the Adriatico Bianco Crushed Almonds Amaretto, the almonds are shelled and processed into an intense white almond powder that is transformed into a delicious, creamy white almond liquor with a tempting vanilla note. For off shore and some Highlands destinations we will most likely use Parcelforce or Royal Mail and it may take a day or two longer to reach you. Set against a dramatic backdrop of the inimitable macchia mediterranea, forests, ancient olive groves and surrounding the impeccable gardens and grounds of 12th century Castello di Vicarello, you will find the vineyards. The balanced climatic conditions of this vintage, equipped with the right amount of all the elements, allowed us to produce powerful but elegant wines. Roasted almonds in ADRIATICO Amaretto bring a welcome depth of flavour and richness to the classic sour, creating a drink that is gently warming and refreshing.

All thanks to my Italian mother who prepared my favorite dessert, tiramisu, with two drops of amaretto. Amaretto Roasted Sour Cocktail: Caramelised marzipan notes, zesty citrus flavours, and a touch of sea salt are all perfectly balanced in this bright and refreshing amaretto sour. Cane sugar is also added but as much as 50% less sugar than some more traditional amarettos (just 205 grams per litre). It moves like the sea that it looks at, from red crispy fruit tones to freshly bloomed purple flowers.
