During Donald Farmer's introduction, he talks about how over-the-top Jessa Flux can be and why he wants that kind of performance. Farmer has said Debbie Does Demons started out as his attempt to makes a film like Witchfinder General.

With a better budget, acting, cinematography, directing, and effects that could be a really great film. What the witch doesn’t count on is a local TV talk show hostess named Debbie (Angel Bradford) who just so happens to be an expert on witchcraft and who takes it upon herself to send Carmilla back to the hell from whence she came! As far as modern day shot on video exploitation throwbacks go, Debbie Does Dallas is, in all seriousness, a good bit of goofy fun.

Jessa Flux, who has been popping up in quite a few shot on video schlock movies in the last five years or so (and not all of them are Donald Farmer movies…though some of them are) is fun to watch as the buxotic villainess, chewing the scenery and strutting her stuff with plenty of welcome bravado.

But I have to say that I found it to be pointless, sleazy and just not very helpful to further the already staggering storyline. Director Park Hoon-jung, with his 2023 offering The Childe, tells the story of a low level boxer named Marco (Kang Tae-Ju) who competes in underground fight circles in The Philippines, using the money that he earns from these bouts to. And yet, I still opted to sit down and watch the movie, on account of it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, much less heard about.On tonight’s episode of Debbie Does Demons, Debbie (Angel Nichole Bradford, Wolf Hollow, Backwoods Bubba)tells us the story of Carmilla Karnstein (Jessa Flux, Murdercise, Satan Lives: The Rise of the Illuminati Hotties). Debbie Does Demons arrives on region free Blu-ray from Culture Shock Releasing in an AVC encoded 1080i transfer framed at 1. Going all the way back to early efforts like Demon Queen and Cannibal Hookers, tits, be they big ones or small ones, have long been a part of Farmer’s oeuvre and in this most recent effort, it’s clear that the man’s love of breasts has not diminished one iota.

Those who don’t enjoy his films or SOV movies in general won’t likely be won over by this, but if you do appreciate the man’s output and style, particularly as seen in the movie’s he has made in the last decade rather than his earlier output, there’s no reason you won’t enjoy this one as well. He wears his influences and his breast obsession plainly on his sleeve, but we kind of love him for that. Director Donald Farmer is one of the OG's of SOV horror going back to the 1980s with films like CANNIBAL HOOKERS and DEMON QUEEN. Four friends are playing with a Ouija board when they bring back the spirit of witch Carmilla Karnstein (Jessa Flux) and soon she turns two of them into demon slaves. The Blu-ray looks and sounds quite good and the interviews give us a bit of background on the movie.There’s also footage of vampire nuns presented as part of Debbie’s show that has the feel of their work as well.
