About this deal

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Personalized advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out. Nelson, Poltergeist), an oversized man of action who winds up on the wrong side of a law suit after a man whose life he saved sues him.

A massive collection (over 30 minutes) of deleted scenes is up next, presented in a much better format than most DVDs. I've never found EX a match for ES but, that said, it would be churlish and infantile to denounce such a well-steered, multi-layered track as that offered here. And, at least, it grants the opportunity for endless tinkering with your sound system - and who can resist that? Just a little warning though, the DVD that comes with this US version 4-disc set (DVD in the NTSC format, 2 x blu-ray discs, the film and extras and a digital copy on disc) is that the NTSC format DVD may not play on UK machines, or if it does, the picture may not be great. And the villain of the piece is the dastardly Syndrome (Jason Lee, Almost Famous), who hunts down and knocks off heroes in hiding as part of a nefarious plot to create havoc and set himself up as the next super hero.A new short, Jack-Jack Attack, fills us in on what happened to the poor babysitter charged with minding the Incredible infant. The blu-ray discs work fine and that is the reason I bought this set in the first place, so I have no problem that the DVD doesn't work in my machine. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. Incredi-Blunders offers a short collection of digital bloopers, odd computer-generated gaffs that are worth watching once.

Author/cast member Sarah Vowell (NPR's This American Life ) talks about her first foray into movie voice-overs--daughter Violet--and the unlikelihood of her being a superhero. The Incredibles is the mightiest example of animation I have seen thus far - vibrant, engaging, affecting. The level of detail throughout is breathtaking, the demolition Bob causes when he is flung through an office window, the patterns in the ice that Frozone creates - and check out the bullets zipping through the water as the goon tries to hit Violet. The jumping-off point on the DVD of The Incredibles is the first commentary track, with Bird and producer John Walker. The characters are captivating and convincing - forget the emotional knee-jerking of the likes of Bambi for a moment and savour the real-life emotions displayed here. Interestingly, you see everything doesn't always go happy-go-lucky at Pixar, as arguments over costs versus creativity make Bird nuts. Absolutely pin sharp and crystal clear with no trace whatsoever of pixellation, edge enhancement, smearing, chroma-shift or bleeding - the DVD gremlins have been banished completely. The evolution of the look of The Incredibles is studied in the Art Gallery, which is a neatly-designed archive of images that is easily navigated.
