Whoever He wills goes to the Garden out of His Bounty and whoever He wills goes to the Fire through His justice.

He encompasses everything and is above it, and what He has created is incapable of encompassing Him. Book of Faith represents the first complete English translation of the important and well-known work Kitab Al-Iman, written by the renowned scholar Ibn Taymiyyah. The concept of Iman, faith, is fundamental to Islam. Iman has served to define the nature of Muslim life and the essence of the religion as a whole.

Everything happens according to Allah's will, knowledge, predestination and decree. His will overpowers all other wills and His decree overpowers all stratagems. He does whatever He wills and He is never unjust. He is exalted in His purity above any evil or perdition and He is perfect far beyond any fault or flaw. 'He will not be asked about what He does but they will he asked.' (al-Anbiya' 21: 23) He is Exalted above any limits, ends, supports, limbs, or tools. He is not contained by six directions like the rest of created things. [46]Aqeedah al-Tahhaawi discusses matters in brief and general terms, but what made it very famous and popular among the Salafis in particular is the commentary which was written by Shaykh Ibn Abi’l-‘Izz al-Hanafi (may Allaah have mercy on him), which is the most important and most detailed of its commentaries. He based his commentary on the books of Ahl al-Sunnah, especially the books of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) and his student Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him).
