Elliot Harper is a gay man, and the book is good representation in that the book incorporates it without making a big deal out of it. After that Elliot withdraws and the only person, he willingly spends time with is Zach, but Zach wants him to make other friends. I don’t want to read some boring Dr go through all the correct procedures, I wanna see someone go to the extent of kidnapping someone because they believe so badly that they are right.

I have rated the book with 3 stars because of the fact that I still wanted to know what was happening. Zach is also able to reunite Elliot and Noah, and Noah is a darling as he wants to continue his budding relationship with Elliot even though he has tested positive for HIV.So, if you’re selling a book based off of it’s correlation to real life…it should be a little more believable, eh? How interesting of a concept to get to peak inside patient files, even if they are fiction, and read from that aspect of the story.

He ranted about her every week -- she didn't appreciate him, she led him on, her friends mocked him, etc. Obviously, we had a glimpse of his battle with self-shame and self-harm but his relationship with Zach hasn’t really been explored. From the three books i feel the hardest one to read was the second because it was impossible that SPOILER ALERT, being in prision he’ll keep being a psychologist, and everything is always against him. For a while the real Elliot and the imposter talk and when Zhang arrives for Elliot’s decision they give different answers but the copycat leads Zhang to what she wants which is good for the real Elliot as he gets the medication he needs but he has sacrificed his only chance of finding out what happened to Sam in his childhood.

The contents more than made up for it through it was really good and I couldn't put it down as I didn't want to wait to see what happened next. I would put this down to the simplicity of the language, plot and a general lack of having to think about anything to do in the story.

Throughout this story we get flashbacks to Elliot’s life before prison with Noah as they find a little boy on the beach who seems to be one of these boys. The woman with a dark sense of humor and twisted book ideas is not someone I ever planned on owning up to, but, it is who I am.
