The Dimensions for the Continental Conti-Mobility Kit are: 180 x 249 x 95 mm, and only 2.3kg in weight. Most flats have a nail or object that has punctured the tire, and is still in the tire. The tire still holds air, and has a slow leak. Odds are that when you find the tire flat, you have been driving the car with the puncture for days already. And even if you get away without needing a new tyre, you’ll still have to buy a replacement sealant bottle. Why don’t we have spare wheels any more?

The Continental 450ml Tyre Sealant is suitable for use with the Conti-Mobility Kit fitted as standard to Ford, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Nissan, Renault and Infiniti vehicles. Slime" is a different product. They are a different chemistry. We should avoid calling the Conti sealant "Slime". Thank you for your very complete list of needed items... Finally someone who is practical and can find solutions that don't cost a fortune... I would like to propose the following, because not all flats are the same... You do not always have to repair the tire or do any physical labor right at the scene of the flat "crime".

There is NOTHING in the Continental sealant kit that will damage the tire. It's simply a watered-down latex product, is not caustic. It flows into the hole, temporarily plugging it.

You might have noticed your car doesn’t have a full-size spare wheel and tyre. On more modern motors you might not find any kind of spare wheel at all. Instead, many cars come with tyre inflation kits, sometimes sometimes known as mobility kits.In my driving lifetime, I have almost NEVER had a flat that immediately released air in a hiss.. Most flats are found when you go to your car, and you see that it is flat. Or your dashboard TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System} has a light. There is little risk of the subsequent patch/plug not bonding to the inside of the tire, IF IT IS CLEANED PROPERLY. (water...water...water...) and buffed properly. The reason car makers include these mobility kits is they save weight and don’t take up valuable space. In modern cars, particularly electric vehicles, space is at a premium. And the area where the spare wheel once lived is often taken up with the battery or electronics. You’ll still need your alloy wheel key At this point, all you need is to used the electric portable air compressor (I got an amazing one at Costco). You plug it into the car cigarette lighter plug, start the car, and connect it to the tire valve. Let it pump up the tire until it is up to pressure. If the tire is not hissing, the tire is totally drive-able. Tyre inflation kits combine a bottle of puncture-sealing adhesive gel with a compressor. You plug the bottle of mousse into the compressor which in turn plugs into the cigarette lighter or 12-volt outlet. This then pumps air and the gel into the tyre through the valve. As the air is pumped in it forces the gel to the outside of the tyre where it fills the hole that’s letting the air out. The whole process should take about 10 minutes. At least that’s the theory. Do mobility kits work?
