Since then I have played a lot of games on various PCs/consoles however these have not lost there charm for me.Enjoy the ultimate in nostalgic gaming, all from the comfort of your own home - no coins or waiting required! You aim an on-screen cursor at enemy vehicles, shooting them down or (in the case of AT-AT walkers) launching tow cables to trip them up. As a not particularly strong, 5'8" middle aged male I didn't find any issue with lifting the body of the machine up and slotting it into the riser. I managed to somehow get the left and right panels swapped and the artwork on the riser doesn't quite match that on the main body.

Finally when constructing the riser consider that the graphics should align with the graphics on the main unit. It feels more like a tilting steering wheel than a joystick, but it reproduces the movement of the original arcade controls.

Perfect for games nights, friend tournaments and good ol' fashioned pinball binges, this pinball machine will put your money where your mouth is! Whether it’s the digitized take on John William’s iconic score or the familiar voice clips — “You’re all clear kid! It's more expensive than most of Arcade1Up's other cabinets, like the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter models, but improvements like a lighted marquee and better speakers, along with the pure nostalgic appeal of the games themselves, make it a must-have for any fans of the force with room in their home. Because the horizontal and vertical controls are on completely separate pivots, be prepared for some inconsistency in control tension; in our cabinet the up-down tilt of the grips felt notably tighter than the left-right rotation of the yoke.Replicating the original image, right down to the last detail on Darth Vader’s menacing mug, the artwork covers both side-panels of the machine. The other gotchas I found with assembly were that, when I removed the screen protector it left pieces of polythene around the screws in the screen. I left this for a while but it did start to bother me a little therefore I was able to remove the screws on by one and remove the remaining pieces of plastic. The control joke feels to me possibly slightly lighter that the arcade original to me however it doesn't at all feel cheap or fragile. More importantly, they're faithful recreations of two excellent Star Wars arcade games (and one middling novelty), and if you ever grew up wishing you could have one of those games in your home, this is a much more economical and readily available way to do it than finding the original and having it shipped via freight to your house.
