Description

The keycaps are very stable and have shine-through legends, which is helpful if you like to work in a darker room. Additionally, it has Full Key (NKRO) and Anti-Ghosting, which means it will register simultaneous keypresses and multiple key combinations held down simultaneously.

On the other hand, the Corsair has dedicated media keys, a multi-function wheel, and a lower latency.

The Cherry MX Speed switches have very short pre-travel distance, and the latency is remarkably low. On the other hand, the Ducky is a full-size keyboard also available in a range of other sizes and colorways. It's a full-size keyboard and has dedicated media keys, key-locking features, and a USB passthrough.

The software also has tutorials on how to use many of the configuration options, and you can save your custom settings to the keyboard's 8MB of onboard memory. Using it accurately requires two fingers, so it’s not meant to be something you fiddle with often or when it isn’t your primary focus. They each have dedicated macro keys, but you can reprogram every key on the Corsair, which you can't do with the Logitech. This test was conducted at the highest maximum polling rate (which is how frequently the keyboard sends information to your computer), as higher polling rates ensure the lowest latency possible. It becomes very easy to automate the most common actions and changes, streamlining the process of setting up and/or running streams.Corsair warns users against removing the keycaps as the butterfly switch mechanism underneath is complex, and removing the keycap can inadvertently disassemble the switch below it.

In many cases, the extra buttons and dialers can be viewed as gimmicks and make you question whether there's just too much on one plate. On the other hand, the Corsair K70 MAX uses Corsair's analog OPX switches, allowing you to adjust pre-travel and reset points of individual switches. In this case, the iCue app lets you modify a bevy of features, including the lighting effects, how you want parts of the keyboard to glow, key assignments, and of course, the control wheel. Compared to traditional mechanical keyboards that last up to tens of millions, the K100 sets a new measure for durability. It's compatible with the Corsair iCUE software, which lets you customize the RGB backlighting and set macros to any key you want.Like most mechanical keyboards, the Corsair K100 RGB is at its best when synced to companion software.
