This story seemed like it was going to be slow paced but there were so many things that were not as it seemed.After half point mark I got the dreaded feeling that I knew what's actually happening and I wasn't wrong in the end.

The Only Suspect is a slow burn - a very slow burn, well, more of a simmer, really - that doesn't really get interesting until over half way through. I couldn't have asked for more, really, and feel so proud that readers are continuing to discover it and recommend it far and wide.Cleverly constructed and tricking you by its innocuous beginning, THE ONLY SUSPECT was one of those psychological thrillers I couldn’t put down until I had all the answers. Alex is a very private man hates social media and likes to keep out of the spotlight and when a new nature trail is being developed near his house he seems strangely worried about it.
