Actually watching the show is better, but if you need a quick refresher or don't have access to Disney+, then this is a great way to experience the hit show and cultural phenomenon that is The Mandalorian.The art was decent but not quite as majestic as the vibes or the show or even the concept art featured during the credits.

I've watched the first season of The Mandalorian twice now, so I didn't expect to find much new or interesting in this comic adaptation. If I have one complaint about this book it is there is nothing new in this book that was not in the TV show.Din Djarin, the armored bounty hunter better known as The Mandalorian, has been a smash-hit on Disney+ for two incredible seasons.

This is fine, it's nothing new, but when combined with volume 2 (which should have just been packaged together), it at least feels complete. This doesn't feel rushed like a lot of these more basic adaptations do, and for the most part, I liked the art. In that sense, it sort of cheapened the experience and further diluted the impact of the book as a whole. The bounty hunter has agreed to track down a target for a mysterious ex-Imperial client who offers to pay in Beskar, a rare metal revered by Mandalorians. Or why they would want to watch the show after reading it, since they're now caught up on the first half of the first season. There is no music, and action seens must be more visualized, but this is certanly an enjoyable addition to the comics universe that any collector should invest in. But when Djarin locates the target — the adorable green toddler known only as The Child — all bets are off!
