The “anyone can play any character at any time” structure was interesting, but also a bit clunky. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great because ultimately a character booklet finds its way into someone’s hands, and that becomes their character. It isn’t a problem, but it isn’t a success either. Whether you are an adult or a child, you will undoubtedly enjoy this series! Surely, grown-ups will be hit by nostalgia! Also, there are some subversive themes and allusions to discover. On the other hand, children will take in the pure joy and fun of the series. The goldfish in Beauregard's home should've been removed after his passing, yet still remains in one of the (presumable) guest rooms.
