About this deal

brand-new vehicles, robots, dragons, castles, games and other projects for endless creative play"--Cover.

After having written and published four LEGO project books already, I wasn’t totally convinced that we needed to do a fifth. The pandemic had hit, and I was feeling very low on creativity and inspiration. But, I had a call scheduled with our publisher to discuss ideas. The day before the call, I asked my kids what they thought we should do. My then 8 year old immediately expressed the opinion that we should NOT do another book. When we happened to come across a Lego ideas book at our local library, it totally opened their minds to so many MORE ideas! The book inspired so much building that we actually had to beg my parents for the big tub of Lego from my own childhood that they had at their house…as we were running a little low! PDF / EPUB File Name: The_Big_Book_of_Amazing_LEGO_Creations_with_-_Sarah_Dees.pdf, The_Big_Book_of_Amazing_LEGO_Creations_with_-_Sarah_Dees.epubOur girls are total Lego lovers! And while they enjoys building from the commercially produced sets, they also love building from their own imaginations. They create entire cities that then fuel hours of imaginative play. In fact, these cities have completely taken over our spare bedroom. Lego Minifigure Year By Year: A Visual History by Gregory Farshley & Daniel Lipkowitz: This visual timeline of the evolution of the iconic minifigure is fascinating and has led to lots of interesting discussions in our house. It measures 0.08 m³ (2.82 ft³), created by schoolteacher and wildlife activist Ruairi O' Leochain (Ireland). Living in LEGO Town – construct your school classroom, bedroom, a fun garage band, and other town projects. This book is a wonderful resource for LEGO(R) fans. I love how easy the step-by-step directions are to follow, and with so many imaginative LEGO(R) projects, it will keep the kids busy for a long time!" --Louise McMullen, founder of Messy Little Monster

That night, I build a city skyline project (pictured below), and we jotted down several ideas for more projects. And the book exploded from there! Lego Awesome Ideas by Daniel Lipkowitz: So much to build, so little time! The themed worlds in Lego Awesome Ideas provide lots of awesome building inspiration. It was built by Nathan Sawaya (USA) during the summer of 2011 “in honour of the thousands of children who enjoy the art of LEGO® building”. 👦👧 Fairytale Chronicles– make terrible trolls, castles, dragons, unicorns, and other fairytale scenes! The child who hadn’t gotten to have any ideas in our books built a really cool sports car, as well as a piano for our garage band project and a desk for the bedroom project. They turned out great!

Silly stories and scene suggestions will inspire countless hours of play , making this the perfect gift for kids who crave variety in their LEGO® building. There’s no limit to what you can imagine and create with this awesome collection! This book arrived yesterday and we LOVE it! My son was building last night and before school this morning. The Big Book of Amazing Lego Creations by Sarah Dees: With eight unique themes ranging from popular vehicles and practical projects, to imaginative fairytale fun and a thrilling spy mission, this awesome collection of building projects will inspire young builders. Tomáš chose to build this because he was inspired by the shape of the London Eye. It took many months for Tomáš to figure out how to construct the circular frame without it breaking. 🤔 We bought a couple of boxes of the lego pieces for him to create, but did not have any building ideas or directions.

It’s easy and fun to build each of these awesome contraptions and games by following the clear step-by-step instructions and photographs. Think you have a different way to build something? Exercise your inventing muscles and tinker away! You’re in charge of your designs, so experiment and tweak to make your inventions personal to you. No matter what you end up creating, you’ll learn exciting new things about science, impress your family and have a blast along the way. Well, that was enough of a reason to do another book! These books have been a family affair from the beginning, and of course all the kids should contribute ideas! After some prodding, I finally got to the root of the issue. He hadn’t been able to contribute any ideas to any of our books yet! And that was disappointing to him! He was 3 years old when we started writing books and had just turned 7 when we wrote our fourth book. He simply hadn’t been old enough to create book-worthy ideas. And his younger sister was in the same boat! Calling All Tinkerers, Experimenters & Inventors! Unleash Your Creative Powers with Exciting LEGO® Innovations
