About this deal

Rest of car maintained properly, i could no more leave engine oil in for 20k miles than fly to the moon, transmission oils must be changed at common sense intervals, i take little notice of the makers intervals now which are getting to be a joke in UK supplied vehicles...note some proper Japanese makes, renowned for standing by their product for many years, have not gone down this road, wonder why. Whatever the findings, the trial design meant that the conclusion would be reported with a fair level of certainty. C101 is a hard drawn, high conductivity copper that is the most commonly used base copper to produce common brass and bronzes. Coppaslip is extremely hard to find in Taiwan. I did locate what I'm told may be the only tin "in the wild" in the entire country, but since it contains approximately 500,000 years supply, I didn't buy it. Journal of Health & Pollution: "Preliminary Study of Heavy Metals in Low-Cost Jewelry Items Available in Nigerian Markets."

There are so many different types of grease on the market today that it can be difficult to choose the right grease for the right job. I have seen one other specialist garage use very small tubes of this, which sometimes come with certain brake pad brands, but that's all.

To the op - make sure you put a really big blob on there as it needs to soak into the pad to last 10 or 20 thousand miles. It might help however to smear some on the disc every now and again, especially in winter, as this helps stop the disc corroding, i've found. EDIT: friction of the hub face *does* come in to play, but i can't think how to measure or model it. It does contribute however, so WT is right. Spot, and seam welding give ‘fair’ results, therefore, these are not recommended for this grade of copper. Annealing

Sifphosphor Bronze no 8, sifmig no 8, sifmbronze no 1 with sifbronze flux, silver solder rod & flux Since I take my plugs out a lot more often than most people, increasing the risk of thread damage, this further suggests I perhaps should be using some sort of anti-seize treatment on the plugs. I've never bothered with this before either, and Taiwan is a bad place to start, since I can't usually buy anything here . The design intent of bolted fasteners is that they should develop clamping force. This means that the bolt is in tension, and the joint is placed in corresponding compression.

Copper Ease

Buy only from trustworthy suppliers. There have been several cases of poisoning or injury because of metallic bracelets. In most cases, this is because the bracelets were made with counterfeit or harmful materials. C101 is prone to hydrogen embrittlement when welding or brazing using an oxy-fuel gas flame due to the presence of oxygen in the gasses used. Oxy Acetylene welding is not suitable for use on this grade. Friction of hub face cannot come in to play provided this clamping force isn't overcome (and if it is overcome you've lost a wheel bolt nasty!). This copper grade has good formability when hot worked. The optimum hot working temperature is 750°C to 950°C. Cold working

I wouldn't expect aluminium grease to be called CopperEase. I'd expect copper grease to be called CopperEase, but perhaps its just a trademark, and could be either? Copper is often used on building projects, usually for roofing and architectural features, as the blue / green patina, or Verdigris, is utilised for a distinctive and striking effect. In addition, if turning the engine over with the plugs out, say for a compression test, on the Skywing I use a half-length of bubble tea straw (Bubble tea has chewy gelatinous balls in it, about pea sized, a Taiwan favorite. This requires a heavier caliber straw to sook them up) in the plug hole, with tape wrapped around the end to form a conical insert. As inflammation and symptoms subside naturally over time, a patient may “confuse this with a therapeutic effect” that they believe is coming from the bracelet. The Accord takes unreachable engine spaces to the next level, though I daresay newer cars are worse.I guarantee almost nowhere is professional enough to supply this. It took me quite some time to find an industrial supplier for our workshop and as far as I know we are the only workshop which uses it on all brake strips and services to properly keep them lubricated and relatively free from corrosion. We also, always add it to drum-wheel mating surfaces to help prevent the situation you have suffered." Solution treating, or annealing, can be achieved by heating the work piece to between 370° C and 650°C followed by a rapid cool cycle. The cold reduction between anneals is maximum 95%. Hardening Sifsilcopper no 7HQ, hilco Bronsil, sifmig 985,TIG sifsilcopper no 7, sifsilcopper 985, sifcupron no 17,sifsilcopper flux NB: Clamping force is not cleanly related to how much torque is applied to fastening the wheel bolt, for all the reasons listed above about clean vs. greased threads it's impossible to *accurately* tell clamping force that will be exerted from the torquing force applied to the fastner.
