About this deal

Although the Aldi Mamia nappies are good quality and have lots of good features for example, re-sealable fasteners and that they are lasting and very good price per nappy, I prefer the Pampers Sensitive nappies as I feel they felt slightly better and fitted my baby better around her legs. Although the Pampers nappies are more expensive than the Mamia range I felt that the price is justified by the quality of the nappy.

Lidl claims its Lupilu nappies have magical air tubes with absorbent channels in the core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours (eight hours for the newborn range). They have soft fleece and an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit. Its nappy range covers sizes one through to six, with three additional plus sizes. I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable. Sandra: We will definitely be getting these nappies again. We usually use pampers, which are much more expensive but find that these are not only cheaper but I think that they feel nicer too.Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future. Would you choose this product above all others on the market? We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review... How did this product make your life easier? We would always choose the Mamia nappies above others on the market, even though we don't regularly shop at Aldi supermarkets. The main reason for us making a special trip to Aldi for the Mamia nappies is because they are so much cheaper than other brands. I absolutely think that they should win a Mother & Baby award! This product absolutely makes my life easier as a mum. Not only does it save my family money, it takes the guess work out of purchasing nappies. I used to try and find nappies on sale in large shops like Tesco or Asda, but ended up wasting time and money, and buying inferior products. With Mamia nappies, I know that I’m getting great quality at a great price. I can shop for my food and ALL baby products at Aldi – that to me makes my life so much easier! There is absolutely nothing wrong with these nappies so thereabouts nothing I can suggest to improve them. The design, quality, comfort and price are all perfect. As a nursery manager and a mum of two this product is just what I need! Tested by mum Amber Grinker for the M&B Awards 2017:

With having a newborn breast fed baby I can go through about 10 nappies a day. Due to the great quality of the nappy I don't need to change this as often. I have no leaking , the absorbency is great especially next to other brands which leaked. Another great thing is this product is relatively inexpsive so makes the affordability of these nappies perfect for me and my baby. The price is so accessible for parents compared to other brands on the market and they offer the best absorbency and comfort for both our boys. Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue. Here they are, side my side. Aldi’s Mamia to the left and Pampers to the right. They look quite similar here, size-wise at least. I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable.

Katie: Yes, I already have. I find these nappies a lot softer than other nappies we have used. There were less leakages which means they are more cost effective and comfortable for my baby. Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone. I would choose this product as it is cost effective and great quality. Due to being very absorbable my baby has not experienced any nappy rash which for makes this product 10/10. Other brands I have used leaked and needed changing more often making them quite expensive. The biggest thing that stands out is they are inexpensive and great quality. Couldn't ask for more from nappies. These nappies seem to absorb liquid better than other brands and therefore my little boy has needed changing less. They are seems softer than other brands making my little boy more comfortable. They last the full night as long as my little one is just seeing which makes night times much easier. No need to disturb my little man to change him. I like the comfort and protection these nappies gave my little boy. Each nappy provided me with the assurance of leak-free nights and a better sleep for baby. The price is also very competitive, compared to other supermarket brands, and much cheaper than Pampers. I hope this product wins because it exceeds all expectations in comfort, protection and price.

Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy.

As I’m on maternity leave we're always looking for ways to save money so these nappies are great. I would definitely choose mamia nappies over other leading brands as the value for money is incredible. Although they are a fraction of the price of other brands the quality is amazing, so far there haven't been any leaks when my little boy has been wearing these nappies. The Mamia nappy range makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can have piece of mind that my children are wearing a nappy that contains all of their business. It also means I'm not being woken in the night by an upset little one whose nappy has leaked and therefore reducing my washing load which is a life saver. Tracy: I would rate this nappy very highly and believe it does deserve to win the best disposable nappy, they look great whilst being good quality and cost-effective. They fulfil all qualities I look for in a nappy, they do not leak, can last 12 hours overnight and do not irritate the skin. I have a front sleeping baby and found that using other brands they would often leak at the front overnight, but have so far had no such occurrence of this with the Mamia nappies. What changes would you make to this product? These nappies are the definition of value for money. As a new mother and a new resident in the UK, one easily gets caught up in the lifestyle of expensive prams, car seats, and cots – it’s so hard to know what to believe, so to come across an item that will not break the bank and is excellent quality is rare. These nappies are worth their weight in gold. I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin. Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies The Mamia nappy brand does everything you need it to do and more. When having a young baby, you go through lots of nappies, so the last thing you need to be worrying about is how much they cost. Aldi Mamia nappies are so much cheaper than most of the others you can buy from other supermarkets. But not only are they cheap, they are good quality, fit baby well and we have had virtually no leaks. They are just as good as the expensive brands, if not better and that is brilliant! The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter.
