About this deal

Kate started out as this strong, take-no-shit-from-no-one, female lead and then slowly turned into a self-deprecating, self-sacrificing, shadow of the woman I knew and loved. This was another great entry to the series and in the interest of keeping this spoiler free I won't say much more. But I was pulled into their romance and I loved how they navigated everything. Daniel’s eyes linger on me and, as amusement flashes across his face, he clinks his wineglass with mine. I join a dating app under a fake name because I’m fed up with my love life. A man named Edgar and I start talking. Even though he’s not my type and lives on the other side of the world, we became friends, laugh together, and tell each other things. I liked Kate at first too. But then she became the same spineless stupid female protagonist who tried to act tough all the time. I can't fathom how could she even forgave Elliot after what he did? I just can't. I thought she would be different.

And who is Kate, you may ask... Well, Kate is a Head of IT team in Miles company London. And she works for Elliot, and she hate his guts. Elliton doesn't like her, he thinks she is a B***ch... But something change for him, when he sees her dancing... And for him sparks fly... Elliot Miles is strong , stubborn and super sexy - his alter ego Edgar is deep , emotional and sweet … As a long time fan of T L Swan books and this series specifically, I had extremely high expectations for this book and it did not disappoint! This book was everything you need in a romance with swoony men, super steamy scenes, hilarious moments and some drama. Kate's medication incident was funny. Sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh at that but it really was amusing.I would not forgive...and they just said I love yous... So let just say Elliot is not my favorite Miles brother, and Yes you guess it right this wasn't my favorite one in the series... Now there are so many great nuances and little twists that will constantly make you think and wonder where the plot is going to go next. The artist, the dating app, the fussy roommate… It’s also very emotional and you may need a box of tissues. There are so many times when you just want to yell at both of you to stop being so stubborn and admit that you love each other. But ultimately, you really want to see this couple succeed in becoming happily ever after after the finale. It’s a bumpy road, but in the end you’ll breathe a huge sigh of overwhelming relief. Well this didn't sit well with me. Let me just say, the grass is always greener on the other side. Or don't go chasing waterfalls... Twenty-seven. I had a few boyfriends in high school and college, and then after that I had a long-term boyfriend. We broke up a year after my parents died.”

Second of all, getting to the end of the book and realising WHO the artist was and how little (actually ZERO) thought/energy they put into creating those "masterpieces" we've read about for the past three books, you will understand that: Of course you will.” I fake a smile, imagine myself slamming her head in the door as I walk through it.Disappointment fills me and I screw up my napkin and throw it onto the table in disgust. “I wish I was more like you,” I sigh. There are a million other companies that you could go and work for and yet you insist on staying here and complaining about every little thing. I’m not going to lie, it’s getting very old.” A couple months ago I discovered TL Swan and I devoured ALL of her books within a month. Needless to say, I was left wanting more! I couldn't wait for The Casanova to come out and was thrilled to see it available on NetGalley - score! ARC received from Netgalley and author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.
