Adverse effects of Paracetamol are rare. Very rare cases of serious skin reactions have been reported. Very rarely hypersensitivity and anaphylactic reactions including skin rash may occur. Liver damage is possible in adults who have taken 10 g or more Paracetamol. Ingestion of 5 g or more of paracetamol may lead to liver damage if the patient has risk factors (see below). Paracetamol and fertility

If you drink large amounts of alcohol, talk to your doctor before you take this medicine. You may be more open to the side effects of paracetamol. If this applies to you, talk to a doctor before use. Alcohol can increase the hepatotoxicity of paracetamol overdosage and may have contributed to the acute pancreatitis reported in one patient who had taken an overdose of paracetamol.
