Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Orks – Price, Value & Savings Summary

Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights – Price Value & Savings Summary My personal conclusion on this Boarding Patrol list is that, it’s actually pretty solid. The Breachers are your rank and file soldiers who will spam the corridors and objectives, the Starstriders provide supporting fire and the Assassin causes havoc all over the board in the confusion. If you’re looking for an unconventional army you might not play in bigger scale 40k games, then this may be the one for you. Hatchways can be opened and closed with an action, so it’s important to keep an eye on where they are. Infantry waiting in ambush around a corner might suddenly find themselves within range of deadly abilities when a door swings open. The box also includes three Scarab Swarms – but you can’t include them in the same Boarding Patrol as your Ophydians, so choose wisely. In this part, we’ll examine how the Grey Knights might be played in Boarding Actions. Here are their points values, including the buildable variants (though do note I have omitted the Purgation Squad, as they cannot be played in Boarding Actions).

Walls and corners and closed doors also provide cover, making chokepoints a key part of Boarding Actions. Games have an exhilarating ebb and flow, as armies carefully approach defended locations before violence erupts in a fierce struggle for control.** Now, what will draw eyes to this box is the inclusion of new model Boss Snikrot – available here for the first time. It’s a much needed update of the classic Boss Snikrot, who was retired some time ago. He retains his iconic goggles and Mork’s Teeth, except all a bit up-scaled and great new details such as a smoke bomb going off at his feet, no doubt about to demonstrate his Way of Ninja. They don’t call him Da Green Ghost for nothing! Boarding Patrol: Orks – Value

Arks of Omen: Farsight – Rules for generating Dark Depths missions with variable maps, nine multiplayer missions, and additional rules for Adepta Sororitas, Aeldari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and the T’au Empire First, the fact that it still runs on modified Warhammer 40,000 rules, so you have to get a couple of 40K rulebooks just to know how it plays and what your army can do, and second, the fact that the game’s missions are very much dependent on you owning the specific (and very expensive) scenery for playing inside Arks of Omen released by Games Workshop.Again, as mentioned before, the savings gained in this box are excellent, and you’ll feel like you’ve got your money’s worth with the sheer amount of plastic in the box. Boarding Patrol: Agents of the Imperium – Points This Boarding Patrol box offers decent savings averaging 37% – except for the Aussies, who get a big boost in savings at 42%, which is a nice switcharoo considering previous Boarding Patrol boxes often offered lower savings for those in the Land Down Under. You are almost getting quite a chunk of the box for free, individual values considered. Boarding Patrol: Leagues of Votann – Contents Custodes are an elite army, so the Custodian Guard are your infantry (at least what’s available in this box), and with only 5 of them, use them wisely – otherwise you may be overwhelmed very easy by horde armies. I once played a game as Death Guard against Custodes, and my opponent found himself overwhelmed by Poxwalkers, Deathshroud Terminators and Bloat Drones – but that’s the cost of fielding an elite army against a conventional one. The Custodian Guard can be built with one as a Shield Captain and one as a Vexilus Praetor – the guy with the flag. Both options offer more power to the unit, but are expensive upgrades at 105 points each so may not be worth it in a Boarding Actions list. Unfortunately, this set comes out at the lower end of savings in the Boarding Patrol range – but 30% off is still 30% off. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights – Contents The new mode also pares the list of available Stratagems right down to a handful of key options – initially allowing just for Command Re-roll , Counter-offensive , and Insane Bravery . Later books will introduce an arsenal of Stratagems for each faction – and even some sub-factions – starting in Arks of Omen: Angron .***

That’s 265 points right there. I’d also want another unit of Legionaries to up the “boots on the ground” count personally. That’s another 180 points, too. We need to leave room for Wargear and with those additions we’re at 1820 points. Maybe another 20 cultists or if you’re feeling extra spicy, drop 10 cultists and add in 5 more Terminators. That will give you a bit of wiggle room for wargear (although not by much — we’re talking 50 points). There’s the obvious call for Ahriman but there’s also Exalted Sorcerers or the Infernal Master to add. If you wanted to go big you could go for a Sorcerer in Terminator Armour or even a Daemon Prince. As for the next steps from there you have to figure out what sort of army you really want as you’re still at the bare-bones stage. Do you want to add some beef with the Scarab Occult Terminators? Maybe you want to toss in some Tzaangors for cheaper objective takers? More Rubric Marines is also a valid option. You’ve also got access to some of the might chaos daemon engines out there. And for the heavy hitters you’ve even got a Daemon Prince Primarch in Magnus to consider. Here are all the updated Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrol box sets value and pricing in our start collecting 40k savings breakdown with the latest price increases.

When selecting the targets of a charge, if the charging unit or the potential target are wholly within a Lighting Area that has the lights off: Another major change comes to Leaders and Bodyguards. The new rules for joining units would make it very easy to hide a powerful champion from harm, so in Boarding Actions, your Leaders don’t join a Bodyguard at all. Instead, they fight solo and confer their powerful Leader abilities to individual units with the new Battlefield Command Stratagem.
