About this deal

The Spellbook is an evil magic book owned and used by the Sanderson Sisters ( Winnie, Mary and Sarah) to create potions and cast spells, and it plays a major antagonistic role in the 1993 live-action Disney movie Hocus Pocus. It is generally just referred to by Winnie as Book. Hocus Pocus is beloved by Halloween enthusiasts all over the world. Diving once more into the world of witches, this electrifying two-part young adult novel, released on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 1993 film, marks a new era of Hocus Pocus. Fans will be spellbound by a fresh retelling of the original film, followed by the all-new sequel that continues the story with the next generation of Salem teens.

In a sauce pot, add in marshmallows and butter on a low heat. Stir often until the marshmallows and butter have melted and become like a sauce. This cursed spellbook was said to be given to Winifred "Winnie" Sanderson by The Devil himself. It is bound in human skin, it contains the recipes for her most powerful and evil spells. The book has a human eye on the front cover, and often sleeps, only waking to the sound of its mistress who dotes on and cherishes it, meaning the book is alive and, on some level, intelligent. All Hallows Eve is coming up, and the spooky season has arrived. Test out some Hocus Pocus spells and potions from your three favorite witches from Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 to see if you're prepared for the most magical day of the year.

The Sanderson family brings their crusade to the area in response to the prophecy that it will serve as a doorway to Salem. After the sisters' deaths through the sunrise, it was last seen in the witches' cottage, opening its eye, and presumably remained there. While Jay and Ernie are still trapped in their cages, the eye on the book's cover opens, indicating the book is still alive, indicating a there's a chance the Sanderson sisters could return somehow. After the deaths of the Sanderson Sisters, the Book was last seen in the witches' cottage, opening its eye, and presumably remained there.

TRAVIS REESE | Travis is a math and chemistry whiz, a master of bad puns, and Poppy’s loyal BFF. For a long time, he was the only one who knew about Poppy’s bizarre family history involving the Sanderson sisters. Like Poppy, he doesn’t believe in evil witches or old-timey ghosts . . . until he comes face-to-face with them. As he would say, “I didn’t ex-specter this!” Caroline Teresa- Caroline Teresa is a dream specialist, psychic, and numerologist whose mission is to empower others through knowledge and cosmic connection to fulfill their deepest aspirations and live their lives to the fullest every single day.Since 2012, Caroline has dedicated her time to providing resources for spiritual journeys and has been using her psychic abilities to assist others in achieving their goals in a variety of areas, including career, relationships, finances, health, and spirituality. She intends to bring you into your own authentic experience of spirituality and hopes to dive you into deep conversations and prayers around topics that touch our lives.Recently she discovered new ways to recognize God’s voice and hear Him more clearly and she is now assisting others in connecting with Him, sensing His presence, and hearing His voice clearly. She believes that every offer is given with sacred intention and created with magic. List Of Hocus Pocus Spells Of The Sanderson Sisters Hocus Pocus Spell Lyrics To charm the Salem kids Can I use microwave popcorn for making popcorn balls? Absolutely! Microwave popcorn works well for making popcorn balls. Just make sure it’s unsalted and unbuttered to allow the flavors of the syrup mixture to shine through. The book's actual history seemed to be much more complicated; while its ties with the Devil being unmistakable, the spellbook apparently had been passed down throughout generations of witches. Sanderson sisters happened to be latest heirs of the book, having inherited it from their predecessor, an evil enchantress they met and subsequently became their mentor shortly after their exile from Salem, on Winnie's 16th birthday. Why is this the most lazy trope in anything to do with magic and witchcraft? Why write things in Latin at all? There was no Latin in the hocus pocus film. So why would it be in the supposed reproduction of their spellbook. It's a lazy attempt at mysticism when it cannot be tied to the franchise it is based off. As an unholy record of evil magic bestowed by the Devil himself, the book itself is protected by magic, and therefore cannot be burned or destroyed by traditional means. In the aftermath, Becca decides to keep Book for herself and she, Izzy and Cassie plan to use him to continue their own witchcraft.

Despite the fact that it was created to solely serve nefarious purposes, and that nothing good was supposed to come from it, its contents still detailed a confirmed weakness of the Sanderson sisters (which could be used against them): a circle of salt could protect their intended victim from their powers, as seen when Allison tossed a limited amount of salt at Sarah Sanderson and it made her sorcerous ability to fly gone awry. And if that is so then why is it filled with inaccuracies? The spells from the film are completely different to those in this book. Why? I don't understand. Ardent fans of the film would like the words to be the same, and the majority of those buying this book, are fans of the film. The best thing about this tutorial, it’s pretty straightforward, and it’s super affordable to execute. The only downside is that you have to wait for each step to dry. But, because I have my hands busy with a 1-year-old, it took me longer to make than it would probably take the average person. The only thing that needs to dry/set overnight is the air-dry clay, so don’t let the drying prevent you from attempting this Hocus Pocus book. It’s probably my most favorite thing I’ve made, and I know I’ll pull it out year after year. With all that said, let’s jump into it! DIY Hocus Pocus Spell Book Supplies Needed:

There is also on the family tree another scrawled out face with the name of E. Podbury. This is the name of the fourth Sanderson sisters from 2018 sequel book. Why? Just why? Please let this not be a implication and reflection of the upcoming film. The revelation of the Spellbook being likely passed down throughout generations of witches all along in Hocus Pocus 2 left audience and fans alike mixed as it contradicted the statement of it brought to the world via. the pact between Winifred and the Devil himself. While the book’s connection to the Devil is unquestionable, It must be stressed that the hysteria of witch hunts at the time of Sanderson sisters' execution may very well affected those who documented their cases to the point of misunderstanding them thus unwisely exaggerated and/or romanticizing certain details rather than based said records through facts as well as writing them through neutral perspective as with real-life witch hunt cases. Even in the film proper, this was touched upon by Gilbert himself who accurately thought Sanderson sisters being misunderstood and that his dismay upon learning records pertaining them being marred by lies added by misogynistic folks who held a vendetta against them, Reverend Traske in particular. Mentioned in official records pertaining Sanderson sisters, at some point in time, after being scorned by the infidelity of her lover Billy Butcherson with her sister Sarah, Winifred Sanderson allegedly decided to sell her soul, and possibly the souls of Sarah and their other sister Mary, to Satan himself and received the spellbook, which was said to be protected by magic, and bound in human skin. The spell book is seen to be Winifred's most prized possession. It is also referred to as the Spell Book, the Sanderson Sisters' Spellbook, Winifred Sanderson's Spellbook or Winnie Sanderson's Spellbook. It is also affectionately called " Book" by Winnie Sanderson since it was her most prized possession and her darling "pet" as she loves the book more then even her own 2 sisters.

After watching Bargain Bethany and Sea Lemon make their own versions of the notorious Hocus Pocus spell book on Youtube, I just had to try my hand at my own version. I can’t take credit for this tutorial – but I did want to share how I combined both of their techniques to create some Hocus Pocus magic of my own. How do I keep my popcorn balls from turning out too hard or too soft? Achieving the perfect texture in your popcorn balls can be a bit of a balancing act. She’s the most popular girl at Jacob Bailey High and has an admirable list of extracurriculars—not to mention a killer report card. It’s no wonder Poppy thinks no one holds a candle to her. (See what we did there?) After Isabella befriends Poppy and Travis at the start of the school year, Poppy shares her family’s connection to the Sanderson sisters. Isabella is itching to know more . . . but why?

The 1993 fantasy/comedy Hocus Pocus, which was directed by Kenny Ortega and starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the three evil Sanderson sisters, is a favorite among millennials. The book is protected by magic and cannot be burned nor destroyed. It is an unholy record of sorcery and nothing good can come from it. By the end of the events of the film, Spellbook is currently in possession of Becca, Izzy and Cassie who then use it to continue their own witchcraft.
