I read this book in one sitting. Started at around 8 pm one night and was unable to put it down until I finished it, which happened to be around 4:30 am. That’s what Identity does to you. It pulls you into the darkness, into the secrets and lies, captivating you with the anguish of the story and desire for these characters to pull through and survive the hardest time in their life, wondering what could possibly happen next. The plot was just a complete dump of unorganized ideas. Okay, so, her father died this and that. Suddenly, in the middle of the concert, there were shooters. No one died. The shooters were the one who killed her father ___ years ago. Suddenly, her boyfriend, Leo, witnessed the murder of her father. Man. What is this. So sudden everything. i read this book first on wattpad and the nostalgia i had re-reading literally put me in my feels; it still stayed true to original story but all the little edits here and there made it 10x better 🫶

It's just not that good. I just saw it was published per chapter at first, which I figure makes a lot of sense. It reads like a chapter-a-week-story. It has no logical story line. Every single chapter something bad happens and then the next chapter it's fixed. Way too many things happen without a logical reason for it. And still everything feels entirely predictable. The storyline is very staccato.okay so to make a long story short, this book NEEDS to be your next read!!!!! trinity is such a complex character that i feel everyone can relate to on a deeper level, and leo just deserves everyones love 😭🤍

the chokehold this book had on me during the pandemic was insane 😭 so to say i was super excited to receive an *** is an UNDERSTATEMENT 🙏 first of all, i want to thank alexia for trusting me enough with amelia and levi’s story, for always supporting me and most of all for being the person she is. i gained a fictional found family with this universe but i also gained an amazing friend, the trinity to my amelia 🥹I started reading the book on Wattpad (very long time ago). And I remember getting sad when it was taken down for you to write this Alexia. I’ve been so exited for this book since god knows when.

amelia and levi’s story made me fall in love with this universe a little bit more than i already was. Both Amelia and Levi’s trauma and addictions just touched me from every way. Even if I haven’t experienced all of it, there was always something that I could recognize myself in. I think that’s one reason why the book felt so close to read for me! I am literally screaming and crying??? I waited 2 and a half year for this book and it did not disappoint one bit. It was so steamy and adorable and cute I really wanted to throw it across the room. Levi is THE perfect boyfriend and I will stand by that. (His dirty mouth?? Hello?? That was so freaking hot I’m pretty sure I fainted more than once). He takes care of his little sister with so much love it was impossible not to fall in love with him and Stella, who was such a little girlboss. I really want to see a spin-off about her future career as a race car driver. And finally our queen Amelia, who is just so beautiful inside and out. She is the sweetest and most caring soul ever. I would love to have her as a friend. I don't think i will have the right words to describe how good this book is! Its also very clear how the growth of writing happened into the next book!

Reading this book made me so happy. I remember reading Identity when it was still an ongoing story on wattpad. Look where we are now, years later reading Amelia's story!! The topics discussed within this book are heavy and triggering, so please do your research before reading. Both characters are broken in a way that neither of them can navigate, living in a darkness that no one else seems to understand. But through their mental health struggles and deep-seeded agony, they’re drawn to each other, providing a sort of light for each other that makes them want to be better, to live. i fear he might swoop into my top 5 book boyfriends. just like amelia, i fell in love with his words, he just has a way with them.
